CIMP exists to encourage, equip, and empower believers to carry out their faith in the Marketplace and therefore impact others’ lives for the glory of God. We do this by hosting:
Christians in the Marketplace, with God’s guidance and to His purpose, is a ministry to create and support believers in the marketplace. The goal is to bring back God’s presence, power, and purpose into the marketplace through the support and success of Christian business owners and workplace leaders everywhere.
The Late Bishop Otis Lockett, Sr., founder, and pastor of Evangel Fellowship Church and Triad Christian Center birthed the vision of Christians in the Marketplace in 2008. Within 30 years of ministry, he planted upwards of 20 churches and oversaw other ministries providing biblical solutions to promote success in life, family, and work. In 2005, Pastor Lockett was appointed as the National Director of Church Growth & Development, his first national office within the Church of God in Christ. And in 2012, Pastor Lockett was elevated to the office of Bishop.
